vintage federal glass parfait cups, vaseline glass, set of 4
Set of 4 vintage green parfait glasses, perfect for a cool lime custard! A tiny bit of uranium used for the “Vaseline” green color makes them glow under a black light.
The glasses were made by Federal Glass, a company established in Columbus, Ohio in 1900. The pattern is Optic Design, produced between 1929 and 1933. They are marked with an “F” in a shield on the bottom.
The glasses are in very good condition, with no chips. However: each glass has a swirly irregularity that is about an inch long. They could be scratches, but they look more like they are part of the glass. See the close-up photos to get an idea of what these look like. They don’t affect the glass structurally.
4″ in diameter at the top rim, and 2 7/8″ tall. Each cup holds about 4 oz.
