About dough bowls:
Wood dough bowls create a warm, cozy environment for rising dough, and were a part of the traditional farm kitchen. Each bowl is crafted of a solid piece of hardwood. As they age, they take on a distinctive oval appearance. Each is one-of-a-kind and has its own quirks.
We gently and thoroughly clean the bowls. Then we treat them with rice bran and lemon oil, for a food-safe finish and lovely rich color.
